PaperS3

SKU:C139

Description

PaperS3 is a touchable low-power e-ink display controller device launched by M5Stack, featuring the ESP32-S3 microcontroller. The front embeds a 960×540 resolution 4.7" (touch and screen integrated) e-ink display, supporting 16-level grayscale. It is paired with a GT911 capacitive touch panel, supporting dual-point touch and various gesture operations. Compared to previous products, PaperS3 adopts a full-screen structure. Unlike standard LCD screens, the e-ink display provides a better text reading experience for users while offering low power consumption, image retention on power loss, and other features.

It integrates a gyroscope sensor, onboard buzzer, and physical buttons, enabling interactions (such as wake-up by lifting) and power on/off operations. In terms of data storage, PaperS3 is equipped with a MicroSD interface and the ESP32-S3R8 chip, which includes 8MB of PSRAM. Additionally, the device has an external 16MB flash memory chip for expanded storage, ensuring higher storage capacity and faster data access speeds. The device features a built-in 1800mAh lithium battery with charging functionality. Combined with the internal RTC (BM8563), it enables sleep and wake-up functions, providing strong battery life. Furthermore, the device has an onboard battery detection circuit to monitor battery status in real-time, ensuring healthy battery management.

The back of the device has an open HC1.25-4P peripheral interface, enabling the expansion of various sensor devices and providing limitless possibilities for future application development. The device also supports OTG functionality, allowing for more external device connections and data exchange possibilities. Compared to previous products, PaperS3 has optimized its antenna for better wireless performance and signal stability. The device design also includes a hanging hook for easy carrying and hanging, enhancing convenience and practicality. It is lighter and thinner than before. In addition, PaperS3 features a magnetic function, allowing users to attach the device to metal surfaces, further enhancing its usability and flexibility.

PaperS3 is suitable for a wide range of low-power display and interaction applications, including IoT monitoring, smart homes, environmental monitoring, health monitoring, electronic tags, and data logging.
