Unit Reflective IR is a self-contained infrared sensor unit primarily used to detect the reflected infrared light from target objects and indicate the detection status through analog and digital signal outputs. Its unique design incorporates an onboard adjustable potentiometer that allows users to fine-tune the sensitivity of the digital output, providing flexibility and precision for various applications. This product is suitable for object detection, line tracking, distance measurement, and automation systems.
Note: The potentiometer on the back is used to adjust the detection distance (sensitivity). The threshold comparison voltage (1.65V) has been pre-adjusted via the potentiometer before leaving the factory. Please do not adjust the potentiometer unless necessary. The effective range of the threshold comparison voltage is 0.3V≥1.65V≤2.15V. Exceeding this range will result in the red LED staying on when >2.15V or not lighting up when <0.3V, causing detection failure. (The potentiometer voltage can be measured at the inverting input of the LM393 comparator in the schematic.)
