LLM-8850 Card Hardware Installation
When installing the LLM-8850 accelerator card on Raspberry Pi 5, you can use the M5Stack LLM-8850 PiHat or the official Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ expansion board
Power Off Before Installation
Before installing the LLM-8850 Card, be sure to disconnect the power supply of the Raspberry Pi 5. Do not install while powered on!
Using the LLM-8850 PiHat Expansion Board
Power Supply Notes
When used with the LLM-8850 PiHat expansion board, please pay attention to the following power supply requirements
- Power the entire system through the PD power input port on the adapter board
- Power capability > 9V@3A (27W)

Using the M.2 HAT+ Expansion Board
Power Supply Notes
When used with the M.2 HAT+ expansion board, it is recommended to use a switching power supply adapter with DC 5V@3A capability (non-PD protocol). If a PD power adapter is used, it may fail to output the maximum power properly due to protocol compatibility issues, which could result in abnormal device operation.
